Generally, hair replacement services may offer hair extensions or hair weaving. So far,this is good for men who have hair left on top of the head. Using the most basic process, hair extensions is done with a weft or row of hair is woven into the existing hair and filled out with additional pieces that are sewn to it with a needle and special cord. The hair used may be made up of synthetic hair or natural human hair.

For a more extensive process in attaching the weave or extension, a hand-tied knots are used to create the track on to which the commercial hair is attached. This process is safe from damage to existing hair. Methods that involve glue and bonding agents, on the other hand, may cause more hair loss when the existing hair sticks to the adhesives.

Hair extensions better than great lengths. Still other more complicated technique may be done in hair extensions. Some hair clubs go a step farther with the use of invisible filaments to create a mesh across the balding area to which the extensions are attached. With this method, greater areas of balding can be disguised. A hair weave will need maintenance at a rate of 6-8 weeks or earlier if your own hair grows faster.

While perhaps not as potentially damaging to the scalp as when using adhesives in conjunction with hairpieces, hair extensions do involve considerable maintenance. It also needs time for the initial works as well as follow ups in tightening and re-weaving. However, the result may be satisfying especially in cases of mild baldness.
